Skypool in autumnal Montafon

The colors of autumn in Montafon

Current news, Tips

Spring in Montafon is characterized by the pink of alpine roses, while in summer the lush green of the meadows predominates. But autumn is probably the most colorful season. When the leaves change color, Montafon is transformed into a true natural idyll, shimmering in many different shades. It's good that we don't have to choose, because we love all the colors of autumn.

Gold

Golden autumn is not just a figure of speech, but scientifically proven. Since the sun is lower in the sky at this time of year, the light falls on the earth at a flatter angle. This makes the light appear softer and enchants us with golden tones, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Orange

Like pumpkin – one of the best things about autumn is that we can finally enjoy pumpkin in all its variations again. We have already introduced you to this autumn vegetable in combination with venison on our blog, but our chef Florian knows many more delicious pumpkin dishes. During your autumn break at Fernblick, you can taste your way through them all.

Red

In the evening, you can watch the impressive spectacle of the alpenglow. Sit in one of the comfortable swings in our sauna house, or relax in the Relax Pool Lounge and watch as the mountain peaks of the Silvretta are bathed in red-glowing light.

Brown

The color we encounter almost everywhere in autumn. From the rustling leaves you stroll through on a walk in the woods to our soft, cozy bathrobes that are already waiting for you in our new Silvretta rooms. And you'll also find it in our panorama restaurant, because autumn is, of course, chestnut season.

Blue

Yes, we know. Blue is not exactly the most autumnal of colors, but when we look at our Skypool Montafon, a little blue water is an essential part of an enjoyable autumn.
