Relax in the bathtub with our tips

Wellness0, Tips

Our new Silvretta Highlight Rooms feature a freestanding bathtub. Here we summarize why we should all take baths more often and how you can turn your bathtub at home into a wellness temple.

Soothing relaxation

Imagine sinking into warm water, breathing in the pleasant scent of lavender, and leaning back. A long bath is not only a relaxing half hour, but also has scientifically proven health benefits for our body. The warm water stimulates both circulation and metabolism and has been proven to reduce stress levels. Just 20 minutes in the tub is enough to reap the health benefits. However, you should not spend much longer than half an hour in the warm water.

A break for the skin

A bath is like a mini vacation for our largest organ. Nourishing oils make the skin soft and supple after a long bath. We can also treat our face to some extra care at the same time. The tub is the perfect opportunity for a rich face mask. In this article, we have put together two recipes for nourishing masks that you can make at home.

Me time

The time in the bathtub is yours alone. Use it to switch off and get rid of thoughts about work and obligations. How about a guided meditation while you lie in the warm water? These are available to listen to for free on streaming portals such as Spotify. Or immerse yourself in a new world. Short stories are ideal for this, because as explained above, you should not spend more than 30 minutes in the bathtub. In the classic style, you can also simply listen to some of your favorite songs, which will immediately put you in a good mood.

Distant views from the bathtub

A bath in our Silvretta Highlight Rooms has another big advantage that you unfortunately cannot replicate at home. Here, you can enjoy the unique mountain panorama of the Montafon while you bathe. We hope we can offer you this very special wellness moment again soon.
