Tee off in the Montafon: the best golf courses in the region

Tips, Active

For Mark Twain, golf was "a nice walk that gets spoiled". However, if you enjoy hitting the little white balls, you don't have to miss out on it during your Montafon vacation. Add an exciting game of golf to your long-distance break - the green is waiting for you!

Mountain panorama while playing
You will find perfect conditions on the two golf courses in the Montafon. The Silvretta Golf Club in Partenen is the highest golf course in the whole of Vorarlberg at 1,100 meters above sea level. This idyllically situated 9-hole course has a length of 3,730 m. Length of fairway. Players tee off in the midst of Montafon farmhouses and old barns and the fairways are based on the natural features of the terrain. The landmark of the course is the "Gufelste", a large split boulder that sits enthroned next to the fairway.

Who has the best drive?
At the Montafon Golf Club in Schruns, very close to the Fernblick, you will also find 9 holes. On the course, you can not only play a round in peace and quiet, but also put your skills to the test in a competition. Women's and men's tournaments are held every month and you can compete against other enthusiastic golfers in the "Afterwork Challenge" on Wednesdays from 17:00. You can also compete with others in the "Sonntig Challenge". All tournament dates can be found here.

Practice early
Are tee shots in small style more your thing? Then one of the minigolf courses in the Montafon is the right place for you. The courses in Schruns and Gaschurn even have 18 holes each and offer at least as much fun as their larger counterparts. A fun afternoon or evening is guaranteed here. Who can aim accurately and overcome the various obstacles from the stone house to the slide? And who knows? Maybe one or two mini-golfers will one day become real pros on the big green.
