Treat yourself to rest periods

Strength lies in tranquillity

Current news, Our Hotel, Tips

A balanced lifestyle that includes periods of rest and sufficient sleep is essential for our well-being and health. In today's hectic world, it is difficult to integrate breaks and sufficient sleep into our daily lives. We often tend to stretch our tasks and commitments further and further, neglecting our regeneration phases.
We have collected 4 tips for you on how you can incorporate more restorative breaks into your everyday life.

1.get enough sleep

A lack of sleep has significant negative effects on our body and mind. It leads to exhaustion, concentration problems, increased stress and other health risks. Studies show that a lack of sleep can also increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes and depression. You should therefore allow yourself seven to nine hours of sleep a day. In the past, it was often thought that sleeping before midnight was particularly important, but there is no scientific evidence for this. It is best to go to bed at the same time every day to maintain a regular sleep rhythm.

2.quality over quantity

Even more important than how long you spend in bed is the quality of your sleep. There are many ways to improve the quality of our sleep. A pleasant sleeping environment, regular bedtimes and relaxation techniques before going to bed can contribute to healthy sleep. A comfortable mattress, suitable pillows and good ventilation in the bedroom are also important. Also make sure that the bedroom is sufficiently darkened and that there are no sources of noise.
A routine will help you to get a good night's sleep. Switch off all electronic devices early, use warm light that makes you sleepy and perhaps read a few more pages. But please don't read a book that is too exciting, as this will only keep you awake for too long.

3.effective rest periods in everyday life

However, rest periods are not just a question of getting enough sleep. Our body also needs rest periods during the day to regenerate and promote mental clarity. A variety of active and passive phases in everyday life is therefore very important. Periods of rest promote the recovery process, slow down the pace and ensure relaxation. Activities such as meditation, short relaxation exercises, walks in nature or reading a book can help you to relax and let go of the stress of everyday life. Consciously take time for such activities and concentrate fully on them.

4.time out with a distant view

If you are planning a vacation to find peace and quiet again, our Fernblick is the perfect place. It's no coincidence that our motto could be: "Breathe in. Breathe out. Fe_rnblick." could have come straight from a guided meditation. Our fantastic pools, yoga courses, relaxing hikes on the Bartholomäberg and many other highlights offer you moments of relaxation during your stay at our hotel. Spa treatments such as soothing massages or a pampering manicure are also available here. And you can dream away in our lovingly designed rooms with views of the Montafon peaks. We look forward to welcoming you!
