The Bartholomäberg, also known as the "sun terrace of the Montafon", is the perfect starting point for your first hikes in spring. Up here, you not only have a fantastic view of the Rätikon, but also countless hiking trails that lead you through blooming alpine meadows, dense forests and places steeped in history.

Our spring hiking recommendations around Bartholomäberg:

Bartholomäberg panoramic hike: start directly in Bartholomäberg and follow the paths towards Rellseck. The view of the surrounding peaks, including the striking "Three Towers" and the Zimba, is breathtaking. In spring, the meadows here are in full bloom - a real highlight!

Kristberg - Silbertal circular trail: From Bartholomäberg, you can take a wonderful tour to the Kristberg. The route leads through tranquil forests and past small mountain huts. If you want to go further, you can descend into Silbertal and discover the first alpine flowers there.

Miners' church & historic paths: Bartholomäberg has a long mining history. A walk to the Bartholomäberg baroque church is not only worthwhile because of its impressive location, but also to immerse yourself in the history of the region.

To the Wannaköpfle viewpoint: If you fancy a shorter, but no less impressive hike, then head to the Wannaköpfle. The climb is worth it - from here you have one of the best views of the Montafon and the Verwall mountains opposite.
