Hike around the Lünersee

If you want to experience a very special hike, you should definitely take a walk around the Silvretta reservoir from July onwards. Lake L ünersee lies at an altitude of just under 2,000 meters. There you will experience a dreamlike natural backdrop that is hard to find anywhere else: Let your gaze wander over the jade-green lake and the lush green mountain slopes and take in the radiant pink and beguiling scent of the alpine roses. As the crowning glory, the Schesaplana at an altitude of almost 3,000 meters provides the perfect backdrop to round off this breathtaking natural spectacle.

It seems tempting to pick the bright pink alpine roses and take them home as a little souvenir. However, as the alpine rose is a type of rhododendron, it is also poisonous and can cause various ailments. It is therefore best to capture this incomparable sight with your camera for eternity - these photos will give you more pleasure anyway!
