Grandparents_pride - a wine for strong roots

The "Großeltern_stolz" is more than just a wine, it is a tribute to the founding generation of our family. This Cabernet Sauvignon grows in the steep vineyards of Thal and develops a dark, powerful character through optimal ripening. With its soft, balanced tannins and velvety, elegant finish, it encapsulates the values and strength of our grandparents. The ageing in Swiss oak gives it a spicy note, reminiscent of the depth and consistency of our roots.

The "Bruder_liebe" Cuvee combines the cherry aromas of Malbec with the elegance of Diolinoir and the strong tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon. This blend symbolizes the strong and harmonious bonds between brothers who go through thick and thin together. Maturation in Swiss oak barrels creates a dark, harmonious red wine that reflects the shared strength and cohesion of our family.

This Cuvee of Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon matured for 18 months in small wooden barrels. The dark, dense ruby red color and the aromas of cherry and blackberry make it an elegant and powerful companion. It is reminiscent of the warm hospitality and long-standing friendships cultivated in our hotel.
