So that you can treat yourself to some relaxation at home, we have put together our two favorite recipes for soothing face masks for stressed and dry skin. With good music, perhaps a sensual scented candle and our do-it-yourself instructions, you'll forget everything around you. And the best thing about it: because you already have all the ingredients you need at home, you don't even need to leave your four walls for this relaxation ritual.


Anti-stress cure


Challenging times often have an impact on our skin. Stress causes impurities, irritation or irritated skin. Green tea therefore not only relaxes you when you drink it, but your skin can also benefit from the delicious hot drink. The antioxidants it contains make the skin glow and the caffeine in the tea soothes reddened areas.


Ingredients:
- 2 tea bags of green tea
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp water


Application:
Crush the tea in a mortar to a fine powder and mix with the baking powder. Mix the powder with the honey and water in a bowl to form a spreadable mixture.
Apply the mask to a dry face using a clean make-up brush. leave on for 10 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.


Extra tip: If you have matcha powder at home, you can add a teaspoon to the mixture. The fine powder enhances the positive properties of the mask.

 

Against dry patches


It's still too cold to turn off the heating. Unfortunately, the dry air is not good for our skin. As we can't go outside to give our skin a change, we need to moisturize it with a rich mask. With just four ingredients, you can pamper your skin and put an end to dryness.


Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp oat flakes
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp water


Directions: 
Chop the oats into small pieces with a sharp knife and mix with the other ingredients in a bowl. Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes, during which the oat flakes absorb the honey and milk.
Apply the mixture to your cleansed face and relax. You can leave the mask on for 20 minutes. The antibacterial honey and milk help to relieve tension and moisturize your skin. The oat flakes make dry flakes disappear and give you an even complexion.
