Introducing: Stephanie - A portrait of our employee

Our Hotel

Her friendly smile is the first thing you see when you enter our Fernblick: Stephanie is our deputy reception manager and is always happy to welcome you as our guests. So it's time to introduce you to Stephanie in a little more detail.

Came to stay

She actually only wanted to stay for a year. A year in the Montafon was Stephanie's plan when the native of Upper Palatinate came to the Fernblick in 2016. The qualified hotel manager had previously worked in three other hotels and was looking for a new challenge. She was immediately impressed by the Fernblick: "It was just the right fit: The team, the warmth in dealing with guests and, of course, the beautiful surroundings." So it's no wonder that she now considers the Montafon her second home. Stephanie finds it particularly exciting to be involved in the current expansion work. A new 40-metre infinity relaxation pool and extensions to the wellness area and restaurant will be completed by summer 2020. "I've never been involved in such an extensive redesign project in my career so far. It's exciting to witness the construction progress and see something new being created every day," she enthuses.

Enthusiastic mentor

Stephanie has known many of our regular guests since she started working at the Fernblick. She is delighted to welcome familiar faces to the hotel every year. But you can also feel her enthusiasm when she looks after new guests. Her cheerful manner is infectious from the very first tour of the hotel. She is also responsible for various marketing tasks, such as promoting the Fernblick on platforms and communicating with agencies. However, her favorite task is clearly looking after the apprentices and interns at reception. She practises dealing with customers with them, supports them at check-in and provides assistance with the various tasks that hotel and hospitality assistants have to deal with. "Conveying enthusiasm for our profession to young people is something very special for me. I'm always happy when I can support our apprentices in their successes!" says Stephanie with motivation. She is currently looking after apprentices Aileen and Sophia, who will complete their apprenticeship next year.

Happiness found

In her private life, Stephanie is very close to nature and enjoys hiking. Together with her dog Buddy, she explores the varied mountain world of the Montafon. But it wasn't just the Montafon landscape that Stephanie fell in love with straight away. The Bavarian also met her current fiancé here. Born in Baden-Württemberg, he was on vacation near the Bartholomäberg when the two met for the first time. They now live together in Montafon and are getting married next summer. Congratulations from us!
Thank you Stephanie for your hard work at the Fernblick, for your cheerful attitude and your warm approach to our guests. We are so happy that you are part of our team!
