Construction progress: Every home tells a story

Our Hotel

Every home tells a story. And that's why we're telling you a little bit about ours today. Because our hotel has a long tradition - dating back to 1922. But today we're not just looking back, we're looking forward: because to ensure that we can pass on our roots, traditions and, above all, our passion to you in the future and continue to pamper you with the highest level of comfort, it's time for a change.

Our history

Our story begins in 1922, back then with the Fernblick snack station under the management of Franz Josef and Elisabeth Zudrell - affectionately known as Ehni and Ahna. When our father Karl and our mother Josefine took over the snack station in 1965, the rustic inn became one of the most modern hotels in the Montafon.

Our Fernblick today

Since 1994, we - Andreas, Klaudia and Karl-Heinz - have been looking after our Fernblick with great pleasure, passion and attention to detail and do our best every day to pamper our guests to the highest standard. After several renovations, our guests can now indulge in absolute relaxation with a fantastic view on 1,500m2 of wellness facilities and in our Panorama Sky Pool and immerse themselves in an unmistakable break from everyday life.

Our construction progress

He who rests, rusts. A very old saying, but it is not without reason that it persists in our everyday language. We want to continue to offer you the highest level of comfort and state-of-the-art facilities so that your time out at the Fernblick remains unforgettable. In our blog, you can take a first-hand look at our construction progress with this exclusive look behind the scenes.

Current: We are open again! Come by, rediscover our Fernblick during our guided tours and take a unique look behind the scenes. But we are not yet at the end of our construction journey. It's already going on again - planned completion in spring 2020!

Update from May 27: The countdown is on... it won't be long before the first guests move into the new rooms - would you like a little foretaste? We will be open again tomorrow, May 29!

Update from May 20: Things are progressing! We are working at full speed to make our Fernblick even more modern and inviting for you. The heating is now up and running and the painters and furniture makers are working hard to furnish our new feel-good rooms with their very special Fernblick charm.
