We are proud of our apprentices

Apprenticeship completion at Fernblick Montafon – Career in the Alps

Our Hotel, Current news, Tips

Our apprentices have done it! After four years, they have successfully completed their training. We congratulate them warmly and are delighted for them!

We are proud of you!

Aileen Entner passed her final apprenticeship exam as a hotel and hospitality assistant, Maximilian Schmiedbauer as a restaurant specialist. Nico Stöby and Josef Würbel successfully passed their final exams in their apprenticeship as chefs. The difficult situation of the last few months did not prevent them from performing their tasks in the hotel and at school perfectly and preparing thoroughly for their final apprenticeship examinations. We are proud to train such great young people in our company.

Training concept for the 21st century

The modern training program at the newly established "GASCHT," Vorarlberg's hospitality school, combines the advantages of a tourism school with the practical experience of an apprenticeship. The mantra 50% school + 50% practical experience = 100% success is at the forefront. Apprentices complete their first year of training at school and then apply to training companies. The in-company training in the following years is then supplemented by modules at school. The four Fernblick apprentices are part of the first cohort to have now completed this innovative training program.

Individual focus

Numerous additional training options make the apprenticeship at GASCHT very varied, with a wide range of modules available, from young sommelier training to a cheese connoisseur diploma. Our apprentices have also worked hard and acquired a number of additional qualifications. For example, our Josef Würbel has completed his training as a young bartender.

What the future holds

After such comprehensive training, the world is open to our young employees. We are therefore all the more delighted that Josef and Maximilian have decided to remain part of the Fernblick team in the future. We also wish Nico and Aileen all the best for their future careers.

At Fernblick, we are already looking forward to training more young people who are completing their training in tourism and passing on our profession as hosts to them.
