Advent spirit for your home
Advent is just around the corner, and tomorrow it will already be time to open the first door on your Advent calendar. Of course, we would love to welcome you to Fernblick during this special time of year, but you can also enjoy a wonderful Advent season at home and make the most of the coming weeks. Here are a few of our favorite Christmas tips:

Find regional gifts online

It won't be long before it's time to exchange gifts. Even though shopping is not really possible in many regions at the moment, there are often stores that offer click & collect or telephone advice and delivery. This allows you to give gifts with a clear conscience and choose your presents from the comfort of your couch.

The perfect gift

We know how you can give your loved ones the greatest joy. With an elegant gift certificate for a stay at Fernblick, you are sure to see sparkling eyes under the Christmas tree. You will receive the vouchers with your desired value by mail. They can be easily ordered by phone at +43 5556 73 115 (from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or by email at hotel@fernblick-montafon.at. If Santa is running a little late, there are always our online vouchers, which you can easily print out with Print@Home.

Winter walks in the fog or the first snow

The Montafon is now covered in a thick blanket of snow. In such surroundings, winter walks are of course the most fun. But even if your surroundings have not yet turned into a winter wonderland, walks in the cold season are perfect for getting your circulation going. Wrap up warm, don't forget your hat and gloves, and get your daily dose of exercise – it will lift your spirits and do you good.

The scent of mulled wine in your kitchen

The perfect reward after activities in the cold winter air. Since most Christmas markets are closed, here is a very simple recipe so you can treat yourself to fragrant mulled wine:

3 cinnamon sticks
1 lemon
1 orange
6 cloves
1 l red wine
8 tbsp granulated sugar

Add the sugar and spices to the wine and heat the liquid in a large pot. However, do not let it boil! In addition to the lemon and orange juice, add some zest from the peel. Let it simmer on the stove for about an hour. Now you can enjoy your homemade mulled wine.

Jingle Bells

"Last Christmas" or "O Come, All Ye Faithful"? Which is your favorite? Fortunately, tastes vary and there is now so much different Christmas music available that everyone is guaranteed to find something they like. Put on your favorite Christmas album or click through an Advent playlist. This will make the winter days even more festive.
