100 years of Fernblick – we're celebrating all year long!

Current news, Our Hotel, Tips

Yes, we can hardly believe it ourselves, but the history of Fernblick goes back 100 years. In 1922, "Ehni" Franz Josef and "Ahna" Elisabeth Zudrell opened the Fernblick snack bar.
The view has always been one of our biggest selling points, so it's no wonder that Franz Josef and Elisabeth chose the name "Fernblick" for their snack bar on Bartholomäberg. At a time when hiking and mountaineering were inspiring many people and tourism in the Montafon was taking off, the two turned the Maisäss into their snack bar.

Over the coming months, we will be looking back at the decades that followed, the stages of expansion, and the people who have made our hotel what it is today. During our anniversary year, we want to look back at the past and reminisce together. We would be delighted if you would accompany us on this extraordinary journey this year and perhaps share your own memories of Fernblick with us.

You can find all the information about our anniversary promotions here on our blog and, of course, on our social media channels. Let's celebrate 100 years of Fernblick together!
