Covid-19 Measures

We are happy to provide you with an overview of our Covid-19 measures

Soft Cancellation, our current Cancellation Conditions

We have consciously opted for more flexibility, more safety, and more anticipation. For these reasons, we have adjusted our cancellation conditions:

Soft cancellation policy, valid for bookings with arrival by 31. August 2021

  • Free cancellation up to 7 days prior the start of your holiday – or simply postpone your stay.
  • It is also possible for us to withdraw from the accommodation contract up to 7 days before the start of the holiday should the situation require it.

We are available for questions and information on a daily basis by phone from 09 am to 06 pm or any time via hotel@fernblick-montafon.at.

Free COVID-19 Guest Cancellation Insurance

We also stick together as a destination. To ensure the highest level of booking security, the state of Vorarlberg is offering free government-funded COVID-19 guest cancellation insurance.

This means for you that you can book your summer holidays 2021 here with us at the Hotel Fe_rnblick completely worry-free, as you automatically (no action on part of the guest is required) receive free COVID-19 guest cancellation insurance (for arrivals through 31 October 2021).

You can find all the information you require at vorarlberg.travel

Arrival in the Montafon Area

To be able to start your stay at the Fernblick, please provide a negative antigen or PCR test result that is not older than 48 hours. You do not need to provide a negative test, if you have a written confirmation of recovery in the last 6 months or show us a vaccination confirmation (from 22 days after the first vaccination). Before arriving in Austria, registration must take place via the entry form (Pre-Travel Clearance). The confirmation of registration must be presented electronically or printed out in the event of an inspection.

3G regulation: tested - vaccinated - recovered

Tested:

Both PCR tests and rapid antigen tests are acceptable as tests. PCR tests are valid for 72 hours, regulatory rapid antigen tests for 48 hours. (Living room self-test is not valid).

Vaccinated:

Proof of vaccination is the vaccination card, a confirmation from the doctor and in future also the EU "green passport". The (first partial) vaccination must be more than 22 days ago.

Recovery:

If you have recovered from a coronavirus infection no more than six months ago, you need a doctor's confirmation or a certificate of isolation. Alternatively, an evidence of antibodies no more than three months old is also valid.

Children up to the age of ten are exempt from the testing obligation or the obligation to present proof of a low epidemiological risk.

Regular Testing

Since July 2020, our employees have been tested for Covid-19 on a weekly basis; a policy which of course still applies.

For all our guests who are not vaccinated and not recovered, we offer the opportunity to be tested every 24 h – as stipulated. This way, we all remain on the safe side!

Hygiene Standards

The highest standards of hygiene are nothing new or unusual for us here at the Hotel Fe_rnblick. Hygiene and cleanliness in all areas has always been our highest priority. We can proudly claim that we have been working closely with a leading hygiene company in Vorarlberg for several years and are constantly improving our standards. Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have once again increased and intensified the cleaning of all areas.

Mask Guidelines

A feeling of security by wearing masks in all common areas: It only works, if we work together. For this reason, we ask for your understanding when it comes to the measures in place. Only by working together can we ensure that you are able to enjoy a carefree holiday. That's why at the Fernblick, wearing FFP2 masks in common areas, such as at the reception, in lounges, and restaurants is compulsory. As soon as you are seated at your table, you can – of course – remove your FFP2 mask.

Maintain a Safe Distance

In the spirit of taking care of each other, we ask our guests to keep an appropriate minimum distance from and to each other. Of course, this rule does not apply to individuals travelling together.

Plenty of distance, space and room(s): Thanks to our expansions last year, keeping your distance is no problem at the Fernblick. In the already spacious hotel, we have now taken even more precautionary measures so that you can always maintain enough distance from other guests. Whether on the terrace, in our restaurant, or in our wellness area, you have enough space to relax and feel good!

Hand Disinfection

We have placed well visible disinfection stations all over the hotel and continuously re-fill them to ensure the good feeling when the disinfectant touches the palms of your hands. This sensation not only tickles nicely, but also makes your hands really clean and pure.

In the Wellness Area

Especially now, during the summer months, there are numerous opportunities to experience wellness outdoors at the Fernblick. Our Skypool Montafon, the Panorama Jacuzzi, and our new Infinity Relax Pool all offer fresh-air relaxation.

It is not for nothing that we affectionately call our Sky-Pool the balcony with a view of the Montafon. Our entire pool area with Sky-Pool-Montafon, panoramic Jacuzzi, panoramic indoor pool, and the new Relax-Infinity Pool is so large and spacious that you won't even notice that we have limited the number of people allowed to use it.

In the sauna area or "sauna house", the maximum number of people depends on the size of the sauna. For the time being, infusions are not available.

Our specially trained SPA team can guarantee your massages and wellness treatments as usual though. The masks that our staff wear during these treatments are hardly noticeable at all.

In the Restaurant

Thanks to last year’s expansions, adequate space is no problem in our restaurants and on the terrace. We are already well prepared when it comes to the minimum distance between tables and we have also come up with a safety concept for the buffet. We take the respective regulations seriously, so at the Fernblick wearing FFP2 masks in common areas, such as reception, lounges, and restaurants is mandatory. Once you are seated at your table, you can – of course – remove your mask. Closing time is at 10 pm.

When You Return Home

Please enquire whether quarantine measures are necessary after your return to your home country. Regulations vary considerably, so we ask for your understanding that we cannot provide any information on this matter here. This even applies to other Austrian federal states.
